  Delightful experience every time we come here. Love the welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Have never had a bad meal here. In particular, eating outside on the patio at the front of the restaurant in the summer months is particularly special. Couldn't recommend it more!

  As always excellent. I had the lamb and it must have been half a leg on my plate. What more can you ask for. The staff are ace, can't do enough for you.

  Popped in because our first choices were fully booked. Waiter was lovely initially but food an utter disappointment. I could easily have cooked all three courses better myself. Once we queried an order of liqueur that should have arrived with the dessert but hadn't, the waiter persuaded us to have it on the house by way of apology. We were then charged for it and the head waiter blamed the bar staff emphatically for the mistake.
  Word of advice; don't go here unless you are really desperate. Then think again.
